In four days, the ScaleX Founding Cohort steps onto its biggest stage yet.
On 30 August, our founders take the Grand Final Pitch at MAHA 2026 — the culmination of six weeks of masterclasses, an investor roundtable, and one-on-one investment clinics designed to get Malaysia's most promising AgriFoodTech companies investor-ready.
This is Malaysia's first National AgriFoodTech Scale-Up Programme, endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) as Programme Endorser and National Policy Anchor, with the Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
Thirty founders. One national platform. A pipeline built to be seen.
Investors, if you haven't been watching this cohort — Saturday is the moment to start.
Note Format: single image or carousel (MAHA branding / cohort photo), matching the established launch-day visual style.

The Grand Final Pitch is done — and Malaysia's AgriFoodTech pipeline just got a lot more visible.
[FILL IN: which company/companies were recognised, and for what — e.g. "Grand Prize", "Investor's Choice", or simply "closed out the programme's national showcase"]
Thirty founders walked into MAHA 2026 having spent six weeks sharpening their business models, their financial narratives, and their pitch — under a National AgriFoodTech Scale-Up Programme endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM), with the Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
[OPTIONAL: one direct quote from a founder or from Melissa Ong, if available]
To every founder who took the stage — this is what Malaysian AgriFoodTech looks like when it's built to scale.
Note Do not post as-is — I don't know the actual MAHA result yet. The two highlighted placeholders need a real answer from someone who was in the room (or the event program) before this ships. Everything else in the copy is safe/pre-verified.

A ScaleX Founding Cohort company just won on a global stage — and we should have told you sooner.
Qarbotech took the Grand Prize at the SusHi Tech Challenge 2026 in Tokyo, beating out entries from over 800 applicants across 60 countries. The award — worth ¥1 million — was presented by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike.
This is exactly the kind of proof point Malaysia's AgriFoodTech sector needs more of: real technology, independently validated, on a stage judges from outside our ecosystem chose to give it.
Investors watching this pipeline — this is what "investment-ready" looks like once it's already been tested outside the room.
Note Format: single image — ideally a real photo from the Tokyo award if Qarbotech has one, otherwise a text-forward congratulatory graphic. Sign-off note: confirm with Qarbotech before posting, out of courtesy — it's their win, ScaleX is amplifying it.

Revenue that scales from RM980,000 to RM11.17 million in five years doesn't happen by accident.
Meet Mee Kitchen — part of the ScaleX Founding Cohort — has grown from RM980K in 2020 to RM11.17M in FY2025, with a plan to scale production from 300,000 to 2.5 million packets a month by 2027 and expand into Indonesia.
[FILL IN: whether the equity crowdfunding round (which closed 17 June 2026, targeting RM3–13.77M at a RM65.47M pre-money valuation) actually met its target — I have the target figures but not the confirmed outcome, so don't state a raised amount without checking]
This is the kind of commercial traction ScaleX exists to surface — real revenue, a credible scale plan, and now a public track record to match.
Note Do not post as-is — the one highlighted placeholder needs a real answer (did the raise close successfully, and at what amount) before this goes out; everything else is sourced and safe. Sign-off note: same courtesy check with Meet Mee Kitchen before posting.

Phase 1 built the foundation. Phase 2 is where it gets tested.
The ScaleX Founding Cohort now moves from capacity-building into Venture Building — the stage where masterclass learning turns into sharpened business models, refined financial narratives, and active investor conversations, running through December 2026.
Malaysia's first National AgriFoodTech Scale-Up Programme was never designed to stop at a pitch deck. It was designed to get founders to the next real milestone — funding, partnership, or deployment.
Thirty companies. One national platform, endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) and supported by the Securities Commission Malaysia. Phase 2 starts now.
Six months. Three phases. One goal: get Malaysia's most promising AgriFoodTech companies from proven technology to deployed impact.
The ScaleX Founding Cohort is now heading into Venture Building — sharpening financial models, refining investor narratives, and building toward real deployment opportunities through corporate Living Labs and government-aligned pilot programmes.
For investors and corporates evaluating where to look next in Malaysia's food-systems ecosystem: this is a curated, vetted pipeline — not a cold deal-flow list — endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) and backed by the Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
Note Format: single image, general-purpose (works as a filler post — no time-bound facts inside it, so it can slot into any quiet week without going stale). Watch: the website's /cohort and /partners pages are still Lorem-ipsum placeholder (per the research dossier) — if this post drives clicks to the website, that gap becomes more visible, not less. Worth fixing before this one runs, not after.
The future of food is not something the agrifood sector waits for. It is something a small number of people are actively designing — and the founders in the room need to be among them.
Module 5 of the ScaleX Masterclass series was led by Christine Gould, Founder and CEO of Giga Futures, working with the ScaleX Founding Cohort on how growth-stage agrifoodtech companies position themselves against where food systems are heading, not only where they are today.
This is the difference between a company that is investable this quarter and one that is still relevant in five years. Malaysia's first National AgriFoodTech Scale-Up Programme was built to produce the second kind.
Investors, this is the pipeline worth paying attention to.
Note REAL PHOTOGRAPH of Christine Gould — ScaleX's own team-page headshot (cdn.prod.website-files.com/.../christine.jpg), pixel-identical, face untouched. Only the surround is brand-adapted (panel, type, logo). Nothing about Christine Gould's appearance was generated. Do NOT publish this image under Christine Gould's name without either (a) swapping in a real photograph of Christine Gould, or (b) removing the name from the subline so the image reads as generic programme context. Posting a synthetic look-alike beside a real person's name and credentials is a misrepresentation risk, and this is an institutional client. Real, verified: Christine Gould leads Masterclass Module 5; Founder & CEO of Giga Futures (scalexasia.com/team). Module TOPIC is inferred from her company's futures focus — if ScaleX has the real module title, swap it in.
Most growth-stage founders treat how they raise as an administrative step that follows the decision to raise. The ones who scale treat it as the decision itself.
Module 4 of the ScaleX Masterclass series was led by Edward Tay, Chairman and Co-Founder of Infracrowd Capital, taking the ScaleX Founding Cohort through the capital and financing structures available to Malaysian agrifoodtech companies at the pre-Series A and Series A stage.
ScaleX targets companies already generating revenue — typically RM3 million and above, with existing investors and protected IP. At that stage, the question is no longer whether to raise. It is what to raise, from whom, and on what terms.
Investors, this is the pipeline worth paying attention to.
Note REAL PHOTOGRAPH of Edward Tay — ScaleX's own team-page headshot (cdn.prod.website-files.com/.../edward.jpg), pixel-identical, face untouched. Only the surround is brand-adapted (panel, type, logo). Nothing about Edward Tay's appearance was generated. Do NOT publish this image under Edward Tay's name without either (a) swapping in a real photograph of Edward Tay, or (b) removing the name from the subline so the image reads as generic programme context. Posting a synthetic look-alike beside a real person's name and credentials is a misrepresentation risk, and this is an institutional client. Real, verified: Edward Tay = Masterclass Module 4 lead, Chairman & Co-Founder Infracrowd Capital. Revenue band RM3M+ and pre-Series A/Series A focus are quoted from scalexasia.com/investors. Module TOPIC inferred from his capital-markets role — swap in the real module title if ScaleX has it.
Every agrifoodtech company in Malaysia can describe the good it does. Far fewer can evidence it in the form an institutional investor is required to report against.
Module 3 of the ScaleX Masterclass series was led by Lynette Lee, Founder and CEO of Sirius Impact, working with the ScaleX Founding Cohort on turning impact from a narrative into a measured, defensible position.
This matters more in this sector than most. ScaleX is aligned to Malaysia's Agrofood Policy 2021–2030, the National Food Security Policy and the Twelfth Malaysia Plan — frameworks that ask for outcomes, not intentions.
Investors, this is the pipeline worth paying attention to.
Note REAL PHOTOGRAPH of Lynette Lee — ScaleX's own team-page headshot (cdn.prod.website-files.com/.../lynette.jpg), pixel-identical, face untouched. Only the surround is brand-adapted (panel, type, logo). Nothing about Lynette Lee's appearance was generated. Do NOT publish this image under Lynette Lee's name without either (a) swapping in a real photograph of Lynette Lee, or (b) removing the name from the subline so the image reads as generic programme context. Posting a synthetic look-alike beside a real person's name and credentials is a misrepresentation risk, and this is an institutional client. Real, verified: Lynette Lee = Masterclass Module 3 lead, Founder & CEO Sirius Impact. Policy alignment quoted verbatim from scalexasia.com/investors. Module TOPIC inferred from her impact-investing role — swap in the real module title if available.

The Investment Clinic — Laurie Tan
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. Pairs well posted after any investor-facing milestone.
A pitch competition tells a founder how they performed. A closed-door clinic tells them what is actually wrong.
On 14 July, the ScaleX Founding Cohort went through exclusive one-to-one Investment Clinic sessions, led by Laurie Tan, Co-Founder and COO of Naked Innovations and ScaleX Masterclass and Investment Clinic Lead.
This sits deliberately in the programme the day after the Investor Roundtable — founders meet real investors first, then work through what surfaced, individually and in private. Feedback that would normally take a company three failed raises to hear arrives in a single afternoon.
This is what investment readiness looks like when it is built rather than assumed.
Note REAL PHOTOGRAPH of Laurie Tan — ScaleX's own team-page headshot (cdn.prod.website-files.com/.../1.png), pixel-identical, face untouched. Only the surround is brand-adapted (panel, type, logo). Nothing about Laurie Tan's appearance was generated. Do NOT publish this image under Laurie Tan's name without either (a) swapping in a real photograph of Laurie Tan, or (b) removing the name from the subline so the image reads as generic programme context. Posting a synthetic look-alike beside a real person's name and credentials is a misrepresentation risk, and this is an institutional client. Real, verified: Investment Clinic on 14 Jul 2026 (scalexasia.com/programme); Laurie Tan = Masterclass Lead & Investment Clinic Lead, Co-Founder & COO Naked Innovations (scalexasia.com/team). Roundtable-then-clinic sequencing is taken from the published programme dates (13 Jul then 14 Jul).

How the cohort was selected — 120 to 30

A curated pipeline is only worth the rigour of the curation behind it.
Over 120 Malaysian agrifoodtech companies were evaluated for the ScaleX 2026 Founding Cohort. A maximum of 30 were selected — by an independent committee including senior leadership from Securities Commission Malaysia and Impact Circle.
The bar was not potential. Companies in this cohort are late seed to Series A, with annual revenue typically between RM3 million and RM5 million and above, existing investors, and protected IP.
For investors, that is the point. This is a vetted pipeline where the diligence work started before the first meeting — not a deal-flow list.
Note Every number here is quoted verbatim from scalexasia.com/investors. Do not round or restate them.

Investor Roundtable — the 90-second format
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen retrospective. Good ahead of any future investor event.
Sources scalexasia.com/programme (13 Jul 2026, '90-second Elevated Pitch format before active investors')
Post copy
Ninety seconds is not a constraint invented to make an event run on time. It is roughly how long a founder has before an investor has already decided whether to keep listening.
On 13 July, the ScaleX Founding Cohort took part in a curated Investor Roundtable — venture capital firms, angels and corporate innovation teams actively seeking agrifoodtech investments, in a 90-second Elevated Pitch format.
Not a demo day. Not a networking session with a stage attached. A room assembled specifically because the people in it deploy capital into this sector.
Investors, this is the pipeline worth paying attention to.
Note The founders and investors shown are generated stand-ins — acceptable as generic context because NO individual is named in this post. Prefer a real photo from the 13 July roundtable if ScaleX has one. Fine as generic context because no individual is named in this post — but prefer a real photo from the 13 July roundtable if ScaleX has one. Date, audience description and the '90-second Elevated Pitch' phrasing all come verbatim from scalexasia.com/programme.

Living Labs — where readiness becomes contracts
Ready to post
Fires Best around the Phase 3 transition (Jan 2027), or any time as an investor-facing post.
The hardest part of agrifoodtech is not raising money. It is the first real deployment — the pilot that proves the technology works outside a controlled environment, at a customer's cost and on a customer's timeline.
From January 2027, the ScaleX Founding Cohort enters Phase 3: real-world deployment through Living Labs across 13 states, with more than 10 committed corporate partners, 20+ deployment opportunities and RM30 million in committed opportunities.
This is the part most programmes leave to chance. ScaleX built it into the structure — because deployment, not a pitch deck, is what turns investment readiness into revenue.
Note All four figures (13 states, 10+ corporates, 20+ deployment opportunities, RM30M) are quoted verbatim from scalexasia.com/investors. RM30M is 'committed opportunities' — NOT capital raised or deployed. Do not let that slip in an edit.

Why the policy anchoring matters
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. Strongest with a government or institutional audience.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors (Agrofood Policy 2021–2030, National Food Security Policy, Twelfth Malaysia Plan, KPKM as programme endorser)
Post copy
Plenty of programmes describe themselves as national. Very few are anchored to the actual instruments of national policy.
ScaleX is aligned to Malaysia's Agrofood Policy 2021–2030, the National Food Security Policy and the Twelfth Malaysia Plan — with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) as Programme Endorser and National Policy Anchor, and Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
For a founder, that alignment is what turns a pilot into a procurement conversation. For an investor, it is what makes a deployment pathway credible rather than aspirational.
Malaysia's food security agenda is not a backdrop to this programme. It is the brief.
Note COMPLIANCE-CRITICAL. The endorsement wording is verbatim: KPKM is 'Programme Endorser and National Policy Anchor', SC Malaysia is 'Strategic Pipeline Partner'. Never phrase this as a government-run or ministry-authored programme — ScaleX is endorsed by government, not created by it. This is the single highest reputational risk in the brand's copy.

The five technologies reshaping food systems
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen cadence-filler. Also works as a carousel (one slide per focus area).
Sources scalexasia.com/programme § INNOVATION FOCUS AREAS
Post copy
The ScaleX 2026 Founding Cohort was not assembled around a single technology. It was assembled around a system, across five focus areas:
→ Precision Agriculture & Smart Farming — AI-powered crop monitoring, yield optimisation and resource efficiency → Food Safety & Traceability — blockchain, IoT and AI-driven supply chain transparency → Climate-Smart Agriculture — resilient crop systems and flood-adaptive farming, addressing Malaysia's exposure to extreme weather → Food Waste Reduction & Circular Economy — reducing loss from farm to fork → AgriFintech & Market Access — capital and market linkage for producers
Malaysia's food security challenge does not sit in any one of these. It sits in the gaps between them.
Investors, this is the pipeline worth paying attention to.
Note The five focus areas and their descriptions are quoted near-verbatim from scalexasia.com/programme. The site's own copy contains two typos ('Al-powered' for 'AI-powered', 'lot' for 'IoT', 'cross the supply chain' for 'across') — corrected here deliberately.

Investor CTA — the diligence already started
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. The strongest direct investor-conversion post in this set.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors (verbatim: 'with the diligence work already started before the first meeting')
Post copy
Most agrifoodtech deal flow reaches an investor as a name and a deck. By then the work of establishing whether the company is real has not started.
ScaleX gives investors structured access to Malaysia's next generation of scalable agrifoodtech companies — with the diligence work already started before the first meeting.
Over 120 companies evaluated. A maximum of 30 selected by an independent committee with senior leadership from Securities Commission Malaysia and Impact Circle. Late seed to Series A, revenue typically RM3 million and above, existing investors, protected IP. Deployment pathways built in through Living Labs across 13 states.
If you are evaluating where to look next in Malaysia's food systems ecosystem — this is a curated, vetted pipeline, not a cold list.

People keep asking who is actually behind ScaleX. Here is the whole stack, in one picture.
At the policy layer: the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) as Programme Endorser and National Policy Anchor, with Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
Operating it: Impact Circle Sdn Bhd.
Delivering it: Naked Innovations, Innovate 360, Infracrowd Capital, Sirius Impact and GIGA Futures — venture builders and capital specialists from Barcelona to Singapore.
In it: 30 AgriFoodTech scale-ups, selected from over 120 evaluated.
Where it lands: investors and corporates with curated pipeline access, and Living Labs across 13 states.
A national programme is a stack of institutions, not a logo. This is the stack.

A curated pipeline is only worth the rigour of the curation behind it. So here is the rigour.
Over 120 Malaysian agrifoodtech companies were evaluated for the ScaleX 2026 Founding Cohort. A maximum of 30 were selected — by an independent committee including senior leadership from Securities Commission Malaysia and Impact Circle.
The bar was not potential. It was commercial reality: annual revenue typically between RM3 million and RM5 million and above, investors already on the cap table, and protected IP. Stage 3 — pre-Series A and Series A.
For an investor, that is the whole point. The filtering happened before the introduction.

How a Living Lab works
Ready to post
Fires Best in the run-up to Phase 3 (Jan 2027). Also strong any time for a corporate-partner audience.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors, /programme
Post copy
The hardest part of agrifoodtech is not raising money. It is the first real deployment — the pilot that proves the technology works outside a controlled environment, at a customer's cost and on a customer's timeline.
Here is how ScaleX turns that from luck into structure.
Matched — a cohort company is paired with a state or corporate partner whose problem its technology actually fits. Scoped — a defined pilot: real site, real operating conditions, agreed success measures. Run — deployment inside a Living Lab, not a demo. Adopted — evidence from the pilot converts into commercial adoption. That is the reference an investor can price.
Living Labs across 13 states. More than 10 committed corporate partners. Over 20 deployment opportunities. RM30 million in committed opportunities.
Note The four-step mechanic (Matched / Scoped / Run / Adopted) is MY articulation of how a Living Lab works — the site names the outcome and the scale but not the steps. Have ScaleX confirm the sequence matches how they actually run it. All four figures are verbatim, and the card carries the 'committed opportunities is not capital raised' clarification.
23
The structural gap
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. The best 'why do we exist' post — strong with government and institutional audiences.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors § Why invest in ScaleX — near-verbatim
Post copy
Malaysia does not have an idea shortage.
The country's agrifoodtech ecosystem has produced deep-tech innovators across the full spectrum of food-systems challenges — precision agriculture, aquaculture intelligence, sustainable packaging, alternative proteins. Real revenue. Real IP.
Yet many of those companies still cannot reach institutional capital, market linkages, or the operational capability to scale.
The structural gap is not a shortage of ideas. It is the absence of dedicated, sovereign-aligned infrastructure to bridge innovation with investment and deployment at national scale.
Note The 'structural gap' paragraph is quoted almost word-for-word from scalexasia.com/investors. This is ScaleX's own strongest piece of writing — the post just puts it in front of people.
24
The policy stack
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. Highest value with government, ministry and institutional-investor audiences.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors — endorsement wording and all three policies verbatim
Post copy
Plenty of programmes call themselves national. Very few are anchored to the actual instruments of national policy.
ScaleX is aligned to Malaysia's Agrofood Policy 2021-2030, the National Food Security Policy, and the Twelfth Malaysia Plan.
It is endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) as Programme Endorser and National Policy Anchor, and supported by Securities Commission Malaysia as Strategic Pipeline Partner.
To be precise about it: ScaleX is endorsed by government, not created or run by it. Impact Circle Sdn Bhd operates the programme. That distinction matters, and we keep it.
For a founder, policy alignment is what turns a pilot into a procurement conversation. For an investor, it is what makes a deployment pathway credible rather than aspirational.
Note COMPLIANCE-CRITICAL and deliberately self-limiting. The post states the endorsement AND its boundary in the same breath — that is the safest possible way to use the KPKM relationship, and it reads as confidence rather than hedging.
25
What ScaleX does and does not do
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. Run before any investor-recruitment push.
The clearest way to describe a programme is to be exact about where its role ends.
ScaleX does: evaluate and curate the pipeline — over 120 assessed, a maximum of 30 selected. Start the diligence work before your first meeting. Prepare founders through masterclasses, clinics and financial-narrative work. Introduce you to a vetted cohort. Build deployment pathways through Living Labs.
ScaleX does not: invest its own capital in cohort companies. Broker, underwrite or guarantee any deal. Guarantee funding or outcomes for any founder. Make the investment decision — that stays yours.
Register interest, get access to a curated pipeline, take the introductions, make your own call.
Note The 'does not' column comes straight from the PRODUCT-IS-ONLY boundaries in brands/scalex-asia/BRAND-DNA.md. Publishing your own limits is unusually strong positioning for an institutional audience — it signals you know exactly what you are.
26
What investment ready actually means
Ready to post
Fires Evergreen. The best founder-facing post in the set — likely the highest-saved.
Sources scalexasia.com/investors (criteria 1-4 verbatim); criteria 5-6 derived from the programme structure
Post copy
"Investment ready" is a checklist, not a feeling. This is the bar the ScaleX cohort was selected against.
01 Revenue that is actually commercial — typically RM3 million to RM5 million and above, annually. Not pilot income. 02 Investors already on the cap table. Someone independent has priced the company before. 03 Protected IP. The defensible thing is secured, not pending. 04 Stage 3 — pre-Series A or Series A. Past product-market fit, at the point where capital buys scale rather than survival. 05 A financial narrative, not just a deck. The numbers explain the strategy. 06 A deployment path. A named route to a paying customer.
If you are a founder reading this: four of the six are things you either have or you don't. The other two are what a programme like this is for.
Note Criteria 01-04 are the selection criteria verbatim from scalexasia.com/investors. Criteria 05 and 06 are MY additions, derived from what the masterclass week and Living Labs exist to build — they are honest inferences, not site copy. Flag them to ScaleX as such.
